1. Official date is August 20th, 2011 (this also happens to be my Grandparents wedding date and their 61st wedding anniversary)
Side note: Grandma is okay with this since my Grandpa has passed on.
2. The wedding will be in Uppsala, Sweden
3. My Sister is my one and only bridesmaid/maid of honor
4. Olov hasn't decided on a Bestman yet
5. The color we chose is purple.. but a manly shade of purple
6. The ceremony will be in both English and Swedish, but the reception is only English..
7. The Church we want is only a 15 minute walk from our apartment.. Convenience..

Things to do in Uppsala:
Uppsala is a University town, but the summers are quiet and peaceful, many students go home and so the city is relaxed. A medium city with a small town feel to it. There is plenty to see and do and for those of you who want to be outside there are plenty of lakes, rivers and paths to take walks on. The city is amazing in the summer. Outdoor barbeque is a must and since the sun doesn't really go down you can stay out as late as you want.
1. Go to Gamla Uppsala
2. Linnaeus Garden & Museum (Linnetradgarden)
3. Uppsala Domkykan (Uppsala Church)
4. Uppsala Castle (uppsala Slott)
5. Shopping the main street - plenty of cool little shops and malls to spend a little money in.
6. walking the river, it's a beautiful walk through the city and countryside. Also good for running along (I'm thinking of you Simone :)
7. A quick 40 minute train takes you to the city of Stockholm where there is theatre, shopping and many more sites to take in that one can do in a day.
There are just a few things to do while in Uppsala, of course there are plenty of other things to do while your here..
